Any wrapper, Windowfilm installer or detailer can use the Tint-Chek PRO with this device you will immediately and accurately see how much light the car glass lets through. It measures the visible light transmittance (VLT) of automotive glass or film up to a thickness of 6.5mm. The meter is perfect for checking the legality of the tint applied to car windows. The Tint-Chek PRO has several advantages over existing tint meters in the marketplace as well as upgrades that set it apart from our Tint-Chek and Tint-Chek + models.

The results are shown on the real-time display. This allows the Tint-Chek PRO to record accurate results without deviating from the value. The PRO is designed without moving parts, resulting in tremendous reliability and durability. Other tint meters use a switch to activate the meter when it is pressed against the glass. The two-piece design allows for testing of the windshield, as well as rear and side windows. The reflector unit does not contain any electronics and simply houses the reflector and magnets to help in aligning the two enclosures together for measurements.

The TC3800 uses backlighting, which is especially useful for use in the evening, on cloudy days or in a dark garage. Windows can be easily tested at any time of the day and the results can be seen on the display. The Tint-Chek + and Tint-Chek PRO are the only meters on the market with backlit displays.

The Tint-Chek PRO comes equipped with a protective Carrying Case, two NIST traceable calibration standards, User Manual, Certificate of Calibration, and a 9-volt alkaline battery so it's ready to take measurements right out of the box.
